New Frame Hobby

Thanks to an early birthday present from Mom and Dad, I have all the tools and supplies necessary for frame-making. Fun, huh?!? The idea was to be able to make frames for Lena's beautiful paintings, and also stretch our own canvases. I'll post some pics of my cramped workspace and the end results.


Here's the painting that is to be framed. Its title is "Ghost," and it inspired by a song from Cody Lindsey (look for the new album Way She lies: the tentative release date is...tomorrow).





I have no idea where the Power Mitre saw will go, for the past few weeks it's just living in our den, and there it will most likely stay, until we get a bigger place than the one bedroom apt we've had for 2+ years.
