My New Job

I have been freelancing as an audition Session Director for various commercial casting studios for a good year or two, and early this year, I was offered a salaried position at my favorite studio. I accepted, and I am now Technical Supervisor at Sessions West Studios in Santa Monica, CA.

It is a small operation, with only 2 employees -- myself and Jenny the Studio Manager who is actually a friend of mine from college. Gabrielle Schary is the resident casting director. Other casting directors also rent space for both callbacks and first calls in one or more of the six studios, and often setup temporary offices.
