Bye Bye Bishop

Our poor poor fat grumpy kitty, Bishop, passed away this week. She was grumpy but had a sweet cuddly side to her. She was my first baby girl and I will miss her dearly.

We love you Bishop. We love you so much!

Baby's First BooBoo and Sick Day

Margaret got diagnosed with Roseola (I think I misspelled that). Apparently it's something pretty much all babies get. 3-5 days of fever then 3-5 days of rash. Lady M's wasn't too bad, but she was still not feeling well. Poor baby could barely keep her head up.



What was super sad about this illness was that she just healed from a black eye...you read it right, a black eye. We were outside having a lovely time enjoying the temperate SoCal weather. I had a glass of water. I picked it up just as baby lunged toward it and...BAM. We collided and she got a black eye. She cried but not for too long...she's sturdy, like her dad.

Lady G's First Beach Day!

So...after our swim class, the whole family (Dandi, Pepaw, Aunt Lori, Aunt Laci, Lena, Matthew and M) went to Zuma Beach and had the best time. Margaret has yet to go to the beach, but since she's such an outdoorsie gal, we thought she would take right to it. Our California Native didn't disappoint. Here are a few snapshots of our day.

Last Swim Class

This morning was our last swim class of the summer at the Pasadena Aquatic Center. We've had a marvelous time! This morning I randomly couldn't find my bathing suit so I had to sit this class out. Lucky for us, it gave me a great opportunity to take so many many wonderful pictures (and also hear the comments from the other side-line parents about what a wonderful little swimmer Margaret is...and boy is she!).
